apibrėžtis Technologas, kuris kuria, tobulina, įdiegia ir prižiūri chemijos pramonėje naudojamus cheminės technologijos procesus ir jų įrenginius. Tam tikslui jis dalyvauja kuriant gamybos metodus, aptinka ir ištaiso matavimo aparatūros triktis, kalibruoja kontrolės priemones, atlieka testus ir analizes, siekdamas patikrinti produktų kokybę, rūpinasi įrenginių technine priežiūra. Siekia, kad analizės būtų atliekamos kruopščiai ir tiksliai, prisilaikant standartų reikalavimų.
